Gary L. Bailey Jr., Esquire
A long-time Philadelphia native, Gary L. Bailey Jr., Esquire, is a distinguished attorney concentrating his practice in personal injury and civil rights litigation. With a focus on automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, police brutality/misconduct, malicious prosecution, inadequate security, and wrongful death cases, he is dedicated to advocating for justice on behalf of his clients.
Before founding Bailey Law Associates, Mr. Bailey worked as an associate at multiple regional firms, representing plaintiffs in a wide array of legal matters, including personal injury, family law, real estate, probate, entertainment, and general business disputes.
Mr. Bailey earned his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law, where he graduated with the commencement honor of Most Promising Civil Litigator. During law school, he distinguished himself as an Outstanding Oral Advocate and was a member of Temple’s prestigious National Trial Team.
Additionally, he gained extensive courtroom experience as an intern with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in over 120 felony preliminary hearings, pretrial motions, and misdemeanor trials within the Municipal Court Unit and Juvenile Division.
Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida, Mr. Bailey also regularly serves as an arbitration panelist in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
His excellence in the legal field has earned him numerous accolades, including recognition as a member of both the National Black Lawyers Top 100 and the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 (2022).
Kyle F. Bosket of counsel
Kyle F. Bosket, Sr., Of Counsel to the firm, supports both the Personal Injury Litigation Group and the Employment and Labor Law Practice Group. He also serves as the firm's Personnel Administrator, responsible for personnel matters as well as creating, cultivating, and facilitating an environment of diversity awareness and inclusion throughout the firm.
Mr. Bosket has assists with all aspects of personal injury litigation on both the plaintiffs and defense side. This includes filing of initial pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting depositions, preparing and responding to pretrial motions and memoranda, strategizing on legal positions, trial preparation and attendance at
His employment practice focuses on employee relations advisory services, labor negotiations, administrative investigations, compliance, and risk mitigation. He has collectively bargained national and local contracts with several federal unions including American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and International Association Of Fire Fighters (IAFF). He has conducted hundreds of administrative investigations and provided training on investigative techniques to federal managers and municipal internal affairs offices. Mr. Bosket is a trained Conflict Coach and Mediator. He developed a proactive mediation program for the City of Philadelphia, Fire Department which resulted in a decline in personnel suspensions and an improvement to department staffing efficiency needs.
Mr. Bosket graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, in Government & Politics from, The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland where he was on the Dean's List and was a Kekst Scholar. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Penn State Dickinson Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he was a Dean's Scholarship recipient and participated in the Elder Law Clinic.
Mr. Bosket lives in Philadelphia and is the father of daughter Abria, and sons Kyle Jr., Karter, and Kristian Bosket.
Danyl S. Patterson of counsel
Danyl S. Patterson is a plaintiffs ’trial attorney, with a twenty-year track record of fighting for the rights persons and their families. Although her practice is focused primarily on catastrophic injuries, such as nursing home negligence, medical malpractice and products liability, Ms. Patterson recognizes that all individuals must have access to the law to correct injustice in society, and has represented clients for racial profiling issues, employment discrimination and workplace harassment.
In 2006, Ms. Patterson founded Patterson Law Firm, LLC to provide excellence and access in her native community of the Haddington-Cobbs Creek sections of West Philadelphia, where she continues to live and grow, conducting workshops on medical benefits, college application processes, estate planning and neighborhood business/economic development.
Ms. Patterson’s favorite place is a courtroom, and she serves as trial counsel to other notable plaintiffs’ personal injury firms.
Ms. Patterson is a graduate of James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, Trial Advocate Program (LL.M. 2004); Villanova School of Law (J.D. 2000); and LaSalle University (B.A. 1997).
Nigel Scott of counsel
Attorney Scott is the Managing Attorney of a small multi-practice firm base in Center City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. In his practice Mr. Scott focuses on immigration, civil litigation and commercial law—namely entity formation, contracts and non-profit organizations. Mr. Scott serves as a Special Litigation Counsel to the Delaware River and Port Authority, as well as general counsel to a number of startup companies and small businesses, advising in areas of governance, and corporate compliance.
Mr. Scott founded
Aegis Law as a solo practitioner in 2012 and has presided over the Firm’s slow but steady growth over the past 10 years. From the beginning of his career, Mr. Scott has made pro bono service a part of his practice, volunteering with Philadelphia VIP, and being named to the First Judicial District’s pro bono Honor Roll every year since. Mr. Scott has also served as an Adjunct instructor at Manor College, sharing his passion for justice, and the law, with the next generation of legal professionals.
